Each year, the Omughisa Rwenzori Community Development Society hosts a trip to Uganda. The main purpose of these trips is to visit the villages of Kyarumba and Muhokya, where all of our Society’s activities take place. You will get a chance to meet and get to know the Ugandan cohort of our Society, visit with the schools we support, see the footbridges we have built, and the skills training programs we finance. That is reason enough to come. To make it even more attractive, we spend some of our time here being complete tourists, seeing many of the sights for which Uganda is famous: the national parks such as Kidepo, Murchison Falls, and Queen Elizabeth, the mountain gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, and the chimpanzees in Kibale National Forest. Our 2024 trip has just concluded, so stay tuned for the rest of the story.

Hello, Godfrey. I hope you are doing well at your new school. So sorry, but our schedule just did not allow for a stop there. The days were very full with visits to Muhokya and Kyarumba, with activities planned by Joseph and Chrispus.
