In an effort to relieve poverty, and the hunger that creates an obstacle to learning, the Omughisa Rwenzori Community Development Society provides funding for school lunches to students at Musasa Primary School.
Musasa Primary, in Kyarumba, Uganda, educates approximately 700 students from Primary to Grade 7. Each day, lunch is provided to these students so that no child goes without this important midday meal.

The meal consists primarily of maize porridge, with some bits of meat or beans added when available. It is not a fancy meal, but it gets them through the day.
The program is managed by Joseph Kasibirehe, Musasa School Manager and Director of the Society. Mister Kasibirehe provides updates and progress reports to the Board each month.
